Santa Visits Beatrice

Beatrice’s brother Charlie woke her up on Christmas morning.

"You are not going to believe this Beatrice, but there were reindeer on our roof last night," insisted her little brother.

"Reindeer, Charlie? There are no such things as Santa's reindeer," Beatrice began to say but stopped herself when she remembered what she had done to herself at the stroke of midnight.

"Yes Beatrice. There were reindeer. They were so big that they made the whole house shake. You didn’t feel the bed shaking last night, Beatrice?" asked Charlie.

"Yes I did feel the bed shaking, Charlie. Let’s go see what Santa brought us," replied Beatrice.

The two gay children ran to the living room, filled with tons and tons of wrapped presents.

"If you find a Mr. Microphone, that’s what Santa brought for me!" exclaimed Charlie.

"And the new Donna Summer album is mine!" cried Beatrice.

The two children screamed in delight as they opened package after package on the morning of December 25, 1978 and found everything they wanted.

After all, they were good boys and girls.
